Born in La Rochelle, I was lucky enough to live there a long time. Recently, I moved a few miles away from this port in order to have my painting workshop in my own house. I spent my childhood in both the Morbihan, Brittanny – birthplace of my maternal family and La Rochelle, Charentes Maritimes, hometown of my paternal family. From these two places I inherited a love of the ocean and nature. From my family, an interest in the life of the working people such as dockers, oysters and fishermen.

As far back as I can remember, I have always drawn, sketched as children do, in the marging of my school books. Then I used instead canvases, sketch sheets of the scholl of Beaux-Arts of Lorient and Toulouse.
